ABOUT ROW

The Registration Operations Workshop (ROW) is an informal industry conference that offers a platform for discussing the technical intricacies of registration operations within the domain name system. Past sessions have included presentations and panel discussions focused on Extensible Provisioning Protocol (EPP), WHOIS, Resource Public Key Infrastructure (RPKI), Registry Lock, Registration Data Access Protocol (RDAP) and many more (see details here). 

The Registration Operations Workshop is open to all industry members including address/gTLD/ccTLD registries, domain name registrars, resellers, and second level domain registries.

The 14th ROW will be held via remote participation on September 30th, 2025.

CALL FOR PROPOSALS

The call for presentation and panel proposals is NOW OPEN. Please submit a short abstract describing your proposal to [email protected], by August 15th, 2025. 

SUGGESTED TOPICS

The Program Committee invites submissions aligned with this non-exhaustive list of broad topics:

• Operational impacts of provisioning protocol migration
• Examples of how AI is being used in the registration ecosystem
• RDAP implementation experience
• Implementation of NIS2 Directive
• Best practices for DNSSEC Key management
• DNS abuse (Global Signal Exchange, etc.)
• Topics relevant to EPP, RPKI & other protocols relevant to Registration Systems (Domain Connect protocol, etc.)
• Digital Identity topics (eIDAS, etc.)
